Rebekah Reynolds

Hi! I’m Rebekah. I could go on-and-on about my nearly 20 years of professional experience, my schooling, my certifications, my blah blah blah… But I’d bet that’s not really what you want to know.  You’re probably more interested in how I can understand and appreciate what you’re going through – and how we can walk this recovery journey together.  Let’s talk about that.

Are you here because something in your life is holding you hostage? Addiction, anger, mental illness – they all suck! But what can you do? It seems like when you’re so close to managing on your own, something happens that makes you fall back into your ways.  Breaking that cycle is key – and it’s darn near impossible to do so without help.  I can be that help – to work with you on identifying those hidden triggers, on how to cope with those triggers in a healthy way – and to hold you accountable to yourself.

I’m proud to work with clients from all walks of life – be it a gay police officer raised by homophobic parents, a teenager struggling with asexuality being told they “just haven’t found themselves”, a company vice president that is happily married with 2 kids, or a self-described polyamorous hippie.  I believe everyone is valid and deserves to live the life they consider ideal.

If you are interested in working with me or learning more, please feel free to call me directly at 1 (470) 532-1721 or toll-free 1 (844) STABILITY Ext. 1721. You can also e-mail me via our Contact Form.

Cheryll Gaver

Hi! I’m Cheryll. If you’re reading my page you may be looking for my years of experience in addiction and substance abuse work, my credentials in anger management and life coaching (visit my life coach page at www.gaver.coach).

Yes, I have them, but to me, what is more important is how I can appreciate and relate to the struggles of life, the feeling of being stuck in a dead-end job, relationship, and using whatever is available to cope to make it through to the next day.

Maybe we don’t want to face the situation, fear the consequences of leaving the relationship, or even worse, fear the what-ifs? So we stay stuck in a holding pattern indefinitely, not happy here or there, taking something to feel good, and the time keeps ticking away. A famous line from a Pink Floyd song says, “Ten years has got behind you, no one told you when to run, you missed the starting gun…”

In my career, it has become apparent that not everyone has the same coping tools, motivations, or drive to overcome the challenges that life may throw at them. Some may grow up the children of substance-using parents, lacking the guidance or resources to understand another way than the one that was presented to them. Others may lack the encouragement and support that new methods require.

I can help you break the cycle, and gain the inner strength to chart a new course for your personal growth and recovery.

Are you ready for the rest of your life to begin?

What we do

  • Addiction to pills is a serious issue

Addiction:

We’ve all said it, “I don’t have a problem with…”.  But if you find yourself saying it frequently enough, isn’t it worth looking into further to see if maybe you do? It doesn’t matter if that problem is with drinking, pills, smoking, sex, gambling, shopping, or anything else – anything can be an addiction.

There are lots of options out there to treat addiction – inpatient rehab, 12-step programs, medication aides – just to name a few.  There isn’t 1 “silver bullet” to treat all forms of addiction – and that’s where can help.  Our therapists will work with you to figure out a unique plan to begin or maintain your recovery.

Addiction cannot be cured, but – with some help – it can be managed.

Anger:

Everyone has been angry at one time or another. But what happens when that anger is frequent? Often, it can result in hurting others or ourselves – or even end us up in trouble with the law. We have therapists specializing in identifying different types of anger issues, working with you to manage or resolve them.

Many of those suffering with anger don’t often express that anger in an outward, explosive fashion. For some, the anger manifests as self-harm behavior. For these types of anger, Anger Management often just doesn’t work. Our healing techniques work to understand the underlying causes of anger, thoroughly processing those causes, and bringing relief in many forms – including easing anxiety, depression, and other issues.

Co-Occurring Disorders

Depression… Anxiety…. Emotional Disturbances…. These conditions and many more often accompany one diagnosed with a Substance Use Disorder.  The statistics say almost 40% of people have these so-called “Co-Occurring Disorders” – and most addiction counselors simply aren’t qualified to address these issues.  Our therapists are specially trained and certified to address all of your headspace – the addiction and the mental health conditions that may accompany it.

Processing and Empowerment groups can be found at our groups page.
